We've reached that midweek slump. We've gotten through the start of the week and now our minds are focused on getting to the weekend without too much of a hitch!
What better way to brighten up your day than with some pretty in pink nails which are sure to earn a few compliments at the office.
What you'll need:
· Pink nail varnish
· Base Coat
· Top Coat
· Nail File
· Black Striping Tape
· Nail Varnish remover
You'll notice that I'm using fake nails in this design, however the design works just as well on your natural nails.
Apply a layer of base coat varnish to your nails. This will create a great foundation for the next layer and will also help protect your natural nails.
Apply a layer of pink varnish and allow to dry.
Cut strips of striping tape at about 2.5cm long.
Apply the striping take carefully and slowly across your nails so that you create the design shown in the picture above.
Cut off the excess ends with a nail scissors and flatten ends down.
Apply a layer of top coat which will give your nails a shiny finish while also protecting the design underneath.
Enjoy, and please post any pictures of your own design attempts!
